Default HINGES....ITTY BITY HINGES

Hey guys..................I found what we have been looking for. Tiny, tiny hinges........good for mounting any lid, door or mud flap on our model tanks. My local dollhouse shop finally found some for me. See the pictures below. These are made of brass. Both samples are 5" long (126 mm) and can easily be cut to whatever length you desire. Both samples have hinge pins that are 1 mm wide. The smaller sample measures 2 mm on each side of the hinge pin. The larger sample is 2.5 mm wide on each side. I just used these for my mud flap hinges on the HL Pz III and they look sensational.

If you want these, then email [email protected] Tell him you are a model RC tanker and that I (Paul) put you onto him. He will deal with you direct and accepts credit cards. He will have to order the amount you need, so figure 2-3 weeks to deliver. I can't guarantee how long his supplier will have these, so don't wait.

Enjoy.........Panzerpaul

PS: If you need hinges just a little bigger, I have devised a method for soldering a 1.5 mm diameter brass tube to 3 mm wide brass strips and then grinding out every other notch and fitting them together with a steel pin. Then you have to drill the mounting holes. This method actually worked quite well, but it just took a bit of time to make them. Buying these from the dollhouse is much better.
