Great story. Keep one thing in mind. The only people who don't crash planes are those that don't fly planes. Been there, done that. I got my SuperCub stuck in a 70 ft pine tree with no limbs for the first 50 ft. Took 3 days to get it down and eventually just happened to be there when the wind blew it down.

For the record, I've had nothing but bad luck flying someone else's plane. I've decided I'm not doing it again. I've done it twice, crashed twice. At least your instructor is going to fix it up for you. The main thing is don't let it get to you. I'm totally convinced that flying is 85% confidence. I had a couple of bad crashes in December and January....just now getting my confidence back. It's hard to do, but if you can act like it never happened, you will progress much faster.
