MTpockets - If your running 3s on vxl and are doing ONLY speed runs. No hard launches or anything. You can gear it a lot! I ran mine on a 30/70 with 2.2 road rages on maxamps 3s lipo and vxl. It was insanely fast.
wow, 30/70. the highest ie gone so far is 26/76 and it was pretty fast. did you happen to get any numbers off of that run?
No I didn't get any numbers. And its not a gearing you can just run normally. To run and bash regularly I run a 30/84... This was solid speed runs. Easing onto the throttle and all... Temps were high after only a few runs and every now and then it would just stop from overload protection. I don't know speeds, but I had both front and back tires ballooning up so that they were pancakes. The video I am listing isn't my truck, but imagine about that much ballooning front and back out of road rage tires and thats what I saw... And it takes a lot of space to do this!!
