RE: Starting engine for the 1st time
You don't want to make any full turns just a few clicks will richen it up. If you got the link I sent it will walk you all the way thru the process and I feel your pain. I had the same questions when I started and the guys on here helped out a lot. You should be able to turn it 3 or 4 clicks and when it starts sputering and blowing a lot of smoke it is running rich.
