my first boat (airboat) was too big and heavy for my motor and electronics and couldn't get on plane to well so that is why I am concerned about weight. I guess that water props are more effective at propelling things in water than air props

I think I will lay down the servo and run a flexible bike brake linkage wire to the rudder. Its going to be a short connection so there should'nt be too much added weight (yeah, I know you told me not to worry about it... its kinda a mental thing... must stop! [&:])
