Default RE: UCANDO 3D 46.. What Four Stroke for it?

Nothing like dredging up a dinosaur thread, eh?

Anyone ever put a 91 Surpass in this airplane? I bought a NIB kit on impulse the other day (the price was right), but the only thing I have to put in it is either a 52 Surpass or a 91 Surpass. The 52 Surpass will fly it, but would be pretty lame. OTOH, stuffing that 91 in there is going to require quite a bit of work to do right. I don't mind it (part of the fun, to me), but I wonder about balance and longevity.

I see where some guys have put Saito 91s and 100s in these, but those engines are somewhat lighter than a 91 Surpass. I figure that, at the least, I'll have to cut a hole in the rear of the fuselage to mount the battery.

My other concern involves whether or not the airframe can stand up to the pounding that big motor will give it. The manual says "RESIST the temptation to over-power this model", or words to that effect.

Any thoughts/comments appreciated; and please, no suggestions on alternate engines. I'm into gas now and have no intention of buying any more glow engines.
