I haven't got enough of it assembled to give you any measurements but from what Deadeye said your Magnum will work and I think that would also be a good engine for the plane.

I know how you feel about spending that much on the retracts. I am trying to put off buying them as long as possible but I really don't think there is a cheaper route to take.
