Default RE: Engine Options around 35-40cc for 1/4 scale T-Craft

Originally, I installed a G23 in my 85" Hangar 9 T-Craft. It really was grossly underpowered, especially when the engine was brand new and not developing good power. It could barely lumber off the ground, and there was simply no factor of safety to recover from an oops. The plane was approx 15.5lbs.

After a few flights, I swapped it out for a BME44 and really enjoyed that plane. With the extra power, I was able to accomodate the additiomal weight for smoke, scale struts, full length pilot, seat, etc and it flew extremely well at 18lbs, even with a not-too-efficient MA Black Nylon Classic prop. Yeah, it would hover, baby.

There was a BME for sale yesterday in the Marketplace at a great price. A Brison or FPE 2.4 would also be a super option.
