Default RE: PC 9 plane and engine???

Springhill,
I have a Seagull models PC-9 and it is the beez-neeze! I fly mine with a OS .50 max, and it screams! Definately more then it needs, you should be more then fine with a 100 4-banger in there. I can literally do doughnuts on the ground with mine, literally. So no real bad habits on this plane, you will want to do something about the wing, it has the same scheme on both sides and can be hard to tell which side is up when its far off. Landings are amazing, it almost won't tip stall, the only time I came close to stalling on a landing was my second time coming in, and it started to nose over a little, but didnt stall. A quick up down on the trhottle and it was fine. Landings are on a dime sticks well to the grass on landings, I suggest high and low rates, I enjoy them on this plane because sometimes I like to fly scale and others a little crazy. It can be flown much easier on low rates, and can snap like a king on high. Good Luck! I love it,was my first low wing and I have never had a problem, maiden was rough because my trim was off, and I have dead sticked 2 times(before I set my timer) and it was a breeze. Good luck!
