Digital or Analog Servo?????
Today I flew my EDF FA-18 all balsa from HET and it was only the second flight and the first plane I ever put digital servo's in. 10 Seconds into the flight hard left roll and unable to regain control. I got to the airplane and the left taileron servo was smoking and melting. I reviewed a video shot of the flight and can see the servo failing and going to a full 90 degree position on the taileron leading to the crash.
Ok why digital over analog?
