The speed of the jet was probably about 160. It was fast! Cliff is really good behind the lens.

Here's a photo of our vantage point at an earlier LA Jets. For the F4 shot, we constructed a metal barrier right down the centerline about 50 feet past the end of the runway, right at the edge of the weeds. As his spotter, I was located at the corner of the chain link fence.
