Default RE: T-28 Trojan as second airplane

We have a bunch of the T-28's at the field where I fly and they do a super job. They even make some fliers look better. I've flown a couple of them and I think they are great right out of the box, especially for fairly new people. I don't suggest it for someone as a first plane unless they have an instructor, even then it's pretty quick.

I did notice one thing that IMO looks like it could use a little upgrade. On the forward part of the wing saddle there is a hump (?) that the wing leading edge fits over. It is about 3" x 1" x 1/2 high and is solid foam. It aids in alignment etc. I've noticed that it wears off or turns soft after a lot off use. I believe that a little thinned epoxy all over it and especially the edges will make it last a lot longer and maybe keep someone from having a real problem.
ENJOY !!! RED
