RE: Engine Trouble NEED HELP!
Pull off the cooling head, usually 4 screws, remove backplate and starter. Now you can push the cylinder sleeve up and out. Now remove piston and con rod(sleeve must be out first). OH! Before all that, remove clutch and flywheel and split cone! After removing piston and rod, just push firmly on crankshaft from the end that flywheel goes on and it will slide out the back. Now you can flush/rinse all the crap out from the bearings left in the case, and oil them up. Do the same with other components, and reassemble. Be carefull when removing the head as there are thin shims that are easy to loose or bend. Also when putting the sleeve back in, make sure it is aligned with pin in case. Remember, when putting back together that the piston and rod go in before the sleeve. It is very simple really, just kinda scarey the first time you do it.
