When I open the hi needle, it get rich to the point of spudering. Also when I bring the throttle down quick the engine starts to surge for about 10-15 sec. then is stablises. I have tried what you said 1.5 out on both and this is the setting I am left with. Weird! Was just wondering if anyone else had same results. As for the hi I was wrong. it was about 1/2 a turn out from closed. Just a little confused thats all. I checked the carb and cleaned it up and made sure the diaphram was still intacked and all the gaskets were ok. I will try to run it again tomorrow. I also found out that the engine hasnt run in about 10 years. Still though, primed started rite up.
