The 170 is a perfect match for this aircraft in sound and power. It has the approx. power of a 150 due to power loss thru inherit friction in multi cyclinder engines, the more cyclinders the more mechanical loss.
There aren't any issues with fuel siphoning when the 170 is set to the prescribed engine location as indicated on firewall.
