CURRENTLY, I am reserving my judgment reference the program and its effects on AMA membership growth. I do not favor the manner in which the Executive Council allowed the program to be forced on the membership. If I do become an EC member I will work to convince the EC members that THEY are the policy bosses and THEY are there to originate AMA programs which the staff is to administrate when so directed.

Thanks for the response. Regardless on how and why the PPP happened, it has happened. Don't you think it is a good thing that helps open up the AMA to those that normally wouldn't consider the AMA for membership?
