That's the way I feel. It is SOOOOOO convenient. Plus, no more dope headaches. But using Nelson's paints does take some getting used to. It goes on a little differently from other paints and until you know how it's suppose to look it can be a little dismaying at first. But it creates an absolutely stunning finish and I don't think I'll ever use anything else. Another plus is that it's really best to brush it on which means I don't need a fancy spray gun, just some cheap foam brushes (that I can clean up with water).
I'm considering switching to the Nelson system since many (maybe most) WW1 colors need to be custom mixed. What is different about the application and what do you look for when determining what constitutes a satisfactory finish?.........John
