abufletcher,

In one of your earlier posts you mention painting the guns black, and then rubbing on some pencil graphite. How exactly do you do this? Do you just take a pencil, and start rubbing it on the gun, or do you crush up some graphite from the pencil, and apply this somehow? After it is applied, do you put some kind of clear coat over it to protect the finish?

I was also looking at the photo you just posted of your Snipe wing, and was wondering if you freehanded the lettering on it (like you did with the roundels)? If not, how was the lettering done? Because the edges all look perfectly straight on the letters.
