one suggestion, if you havent hinged the ailerons yet, and youre thinking of the quad flap mod.... Mark the place where you would split the aileron, and install a pair of hinges there, one on either side of the mark. Then, if you cut the aileron later, you will have hinges at the end already, and you wont have to remove one section to add them....
