hey bob,
you ever bother to read the biographies of folks like, McArthur, Eisenhower,Patton, you know folks that proved their leadership ability under fire. they were all pretty much "my way, or else" kinda guys. the kinda leadership i see you describing is what i remember from folks like Kenedy, McNamera, Carter, and other folks that never made a hard decision in their life.
McArthur, Eisenhower & Patton destroyed everything in their way to get the end result that was required to win. Is that what you think is required ?
