I built a Goldberg Bucker back in '03 (my, time flies), flew it a couple of seasons, then mothballed it for a variety of reasons. Here's the link to the original thread:

This spring, I was looking for a project and decided to refurbish the Bucker and get it back to flying condition. First order of biz was to change the engine setup to accommodate my OS 120 AX since the original Saito 150 had been sold. I also wanted a color scheme that offered better visibility, so I chose a yellow Monokote, with Ultracote (Oracover) checkerboard combination.
The hardest part of the project was stripping, filling, painting the plastic bits, but I was lucky to find a fuel-proof paint locally that's a perfect match to the covering.
Here r the results. Test flights went great, the plane flies as well as ever - better than before actually, because the new covering is lighter than the original fabric / dope covering and the OS 120
