RE: muffler and needle valve extensions
With the needle valve extension, do you have to leave it in place? Once an engine is broken in I rarely touch the needles. On closed cowls I will generally drill a tiny hole in the cowl in order to fit the extension in to make an adjustment but I dont leave it on permanently. I think it looks better too bc its one less thing sticking out of your cowl.
Why wont a standard exhaust deflector work on the muffler?
