RE: muffler and needle valve extensions
Thanks for all the info guys. What I ended up doing was just shortening the needle valve so it completely inside the cowling. Access is now with needle nose pliers. Not ideal but it works. When the wire extension was long enough to stick out of the cowling it vibrated so much that it would rotate. What I did with the muffler was just to put a piece of fuel tubing onto the end. The exhaust deflectors I found were to big in diameter to fit the little muffler on the FS30.
