My F-16 fuel tanks had red stoppers and they didnt like fuel at all, I replaced them with dubro stoppers. The smaller tank is a bit*** to remove, other 2 were pretty easy to remove.
Bill Hatcher at troy built models is making a manual for the advanced. He'll post it on his website

Strange old game this modelling, had a few attempts at the weekend at removing the tanks but it felt like they would'nt come out, so after you guys telling me they come out with plenty of swear words i thought i'd give it a go today, strange thing is i got the two outer ones out without any effort what so ever, the centre one came out easy as well, good job i took them out as well as the fuel tubes inside were too long and prevented the clunks from moving around freely, going to replace the pipes with tygone fuel tubing, reference the stoppers, whilst looking at them i thought they looked and felt identical to the Dubro one i had in my hand, then when i came in the house i'd recieved an email from FEJ stateing
" I think you are trying to changed the pung. It is not ncecssary to change it. It should be OK to use it. We have changed the material to be better than before".
So on that note will put them all back together in due course with original stoppers (brown in colour) fil the whole system up and leave for a few days.
FEJ wow quick service or what reference my different coloured tailplane (green shade) touch up paint being sent out with new canopy, door ram and centre fuel tank as this had three very slight stress factures around the stoppper.
Sad thing is im dying to make a start on this but due to other committments will be on hold for a few months, also toying with making this my first 2.4 model with all JR gear, turbine will be Wren supersport.
Great thread by the way, cheers guys for all the previous inputs
