RE: setting flaps on dx7
JoCo1: I looked it up on Hanger 9 web pg. but didn't actually find an explanation of the quad flaps. Perhaps there is more info there but didn't bother to look for everything. No problem there. I interpret quad flaps as possibly cutting the ailerons into 2 separete sections but don't really matter for me to understand. However, my next question would be for someone not ever having used flaps why not go with flaperons? No need to have separete flap servos for that. Hey not trying to argue about this just want to be helpfull if I can.
Your decision not mine. Most important thing is for all of us to have fun and learn what we can when we can.
By the way this Stik design has been in existance for many many years with several slight variations by several manufactuers. I had my first one about 30 years ago and have just this week ordered one from Great Planes. An electric version. They have always been great fun planes.
