Default RE: AMA's Experimental Aircraft Process

that is what we have, theres an exstensive check list, the pilot builder fills out a builders declaration form, theres a list or requirements the builder must do, min 100 oz servos on each control surface a dual batery system, prefered dual receivers must not exceed 60oz wing loading, five years flying giant scale in the type aircraft hes trying to certify and more but most important we verify that the pilot has the skill nesicery to safely control his airplane, if you look at the registered aircraft there arnt alot of us this is a serious matter to all of us , the airplanes we build are exspensive and can not be built on the cheep im curently building a 40% waco ymf5 that will weigh about 75lbs and will have over 12 grand invested when done, these aircraft require the same attention and respect that is given to its full scale brothern. thanks, vern coop
