Im currently building another plane. Being lazy - I didnt remove the fuel tank before drilling the hole for the throtlle cable in the firewall. Well While doing this I nicked the fuel tank with the drill. I didnt pierce the tank - but did nick it. Would I be able to patch it with something to be safe or should I just replace the tank? If I can patch, with what? If I should replace, where can I get the exact same tank the Great Planes models come with. I looked on tower but they arent the same. I'd like for the neck to line up to the opening in the firewall. All of the other tanks such as dubro and sullivan are different and would require a mod of some sort to hold the tank in. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!
