RE: FLy Eagle Jet Models
Hello all,
I had the third flight of the F-16 on Wednesday. It was very good this time with no jumps and bouncing on the landing. On the landing it just slowed down on the runway touching the main wheels first and put down slowly the nose wheel.
In the flight I put up the wheels the first time. On putting the wheels up it was noticed a slight climb of the F16, this was corrected by some down trim and it flies very stable with the undercarriage in. Now I will start programming some mixers.
1. Mixer to put some uptrim when undercarriage is lowered.
2. Mixer to put some uptrim when flaps are deployed.
Basically I wish that there will be no trim difference when I deploy undercarriage or flaps.
The C.G at the moment is 150mm with the UAT full. For now I found that this C.G is the best, now I have more elevator response on the landing and can land much slower.
The runway I have is 180 meters with trees of 6 meters and a fence 3 meters high on the approach. It still took around 170 meter of runway to stop with breaks and about 8 knots wind. Fuel used was about 1.3liter in 5minutes flight powered by JetCat P-80.
