RE: Stay away from GWS
Yeah, I had the same problem a few years back when I bought a GWS receiver. The hobby store I bought it from refused to take it back, so I was just stuck with it. They went out of business probably in part due to crappy customer service (Creek Hobbies from Rancocas NJ for those who knew them) I'd never purchase one again, especially when you now have really great micro receivers like the Berg Microstamp series. Full range, thinner antenna, and smaller/lighter than the GWS units, which are ancient technology now.
