engines for B-17
MUSTANG51, I used the setup like on the plans. I made my horn wire out of the end of the elevator from square stock. I then made horns out of brass and cut square holes in them . This is so if the solder joint ever loosend it would no turn on the wire and loose elevater control. I put my servos in the fuse. I didn't want any linkages showing. I also made the rudder horn the same way. After a few flights I then moved all three servos up front . I used sullivan 1/4 scale nyrods. The only problem is you have to trim for hot days. Once I flew it a few times I new the trim settins and just adjusted accordingly.
