Default engines for B-17

Mine is modeled as Heavy Date from the 401st BG. At this time the fuse is sheeted other than a small are in the rear to work through. I am done framing the right side wing and am just starting the left. I ordered my wheels last week from Glennis and the brakes as well. Big bucks but what the heck.

My kit was cut by Mace Gill from Aeroplane works and it is an awesome kit!!

I hope to get the wing framed and the nacelles mounted over the long weekend. Might even get the retracts in.

I hope everyone puts up the website for their model! I like the info that is passed among us and I too would like to get a bunch of us together for a Don Smith B-17 fly in!!!!

My site is http://hoverhans.8m.com

Keep in touch fellow B-17 nuts!!

P.S. If your friend can make up a set of 16X12 or 13 props like that I will buy them! They are fantastic! I figure if I can spend $540.00 on a couple of wheels, scale props should be a no brainer.
