RE: Horizon Hobby Scam
Graves RC often buys older models that manufacturers no longer want in their inventories, or from companies that have gone out of business. Sometimes, you may find a bargain on their site, and get something that's quite viable that will perform just about as well as today's equipment for 1/3 the price. You may end up with 3 year old technology, but it's still not going to be obsolete.
By the way, I checked Horizon's price for their Alpha Trainer 40 ARF. It doesn't come with anything. No engine, no radio, no servos, nothing but the airframe. It's $179.95! How long is Tower going to have their Superstars and Eagles available for $109.95? The Alpha isn't going to make much sense until Tower's offerings start to catch up. Is this just a matter of time, or is Tower going to try to remain competitive?
