For the record. The Wildcat at Joe Nall was a 1/3 Scale
built by Bob Patton. It is owned by Bob Walker and was
shown at the WRAM show and at Toledo. It was flown
at Joe Nall by Paul LeTourneau from Wisconson.
I asked him how it handled and he said it flew very nice
and responsive. They had one flight on it Thurday and another
on Friday. It's powered by a 250cc twin and needs most of it
for anything other than level flight. They said it weighed
54-1/2lbs. The Bates plans is only a 1/5 scale.
