Well I finally had my 1st flights last night. I have 2 words to describe my initial reaction,( THROTTLE MANAGEMENT)!!!! The YS 63 with that 13X6 APC is alot more power than I expected. Me likey alotey!!! It's really cool flying a plane that only weighs 4 lbs 3 oz. with that much raw power. The plane flys very stable. Rolls very axle with little or no mixing on knife edge. Hovers like a chopper. Lands and takes off like a STOL. Then came my 2nd flight. I was having so much fun that I forgot to pay attention to how much fuel I had left. I went into a hover at around 20 feet off the ground and opps Oh S------t she quit. After a 15 foot tail slid and a near stall recovery the tree at the edge of our field decided to have some fun and hit my plane. You just stand there for a moment and try to rationilize your fate. It's only a hobby and man am I stupid. I walked out to pick up the expected rubble. Thank you lord it came down in such a manner as to not even break a prop. Absolutly no damage. So I'll have a chance now to really learn how to fly it. I like to live on the edge too much but with this plane I'm going to take it a little easier because I really like it. I wish you all good luck with yours. Mike
