Default Getting CP2 back in Air

I used to fly my Honeybee CP2, but I always crashed it. Then, I stopped to fly planes. Then, I decided to try my heli again, and could actually do it, however, the thing was never the like new. Here are the main issues with it:

- Tail would NEVER stay straight. It would rotate, so I would adjust the thing on the plane, and I could get it close, but never fully straight, and within minutes it was uncontrollable again.

- Sometimes, It would never leave the ground. This is with a full batter too. This issue cause me to pack up the heli and not fly again (Hopefully, until soon)

I also fried the motor after I got made and just ran the motor full for very long.

So, im wondering, what causes these issues. What do I need to buy to fix them? Definitely a new motor, should i go stock? And what else. What causes the tail rotation?

Im also buying a 2.4ghz radio soon for my planes. Is there a way I can get to use that on this plane? I know its has a 3 in 1 unit on it, so many not, but if so how?

Any other things I should upgrade, while I buy? Everything is stock. Thanks
