I should say the rpm drop is at idle, I am using fairly fresh 30% heli. I can idle it at about 2100 , although I should say it sounds a little rough meaning you can hear changes when it is running. It sounds steady then skips a little but does not stall. I really have not fine tuned the bottom since I have been playing with the midrange and reg. because of the shutting off
