I just bought the megap-3 and I had a problem with the brakes but I fixed that. My question is where do you guys put a fail safe since there looks like there is no room in the batt. or receiver boxes?
Outside of the batt box, unfortunately, is the only place where you can mount it. There might be an aftermarket one that is small enough to fit into this batt box (I assume you mean the MXB-3 when you say MegaP-3). Try a Venom failsafe, that might be small enough to fit in there.
Also, the RTR radio and RX is unfortunately massive. Whenever you can save up enough money, a mid-grade radio will have a much smaller RX in most cases, and better yet, those radio gears have failsafe built in!
I dont know about the "unfortunately massive", i have himoto reciever in my hand now and its 1/2 the size of a few different futaba's. I dont know of any RTR that has a micro reciever unless its a losi mini or micro t, check out the traxxas or cen rtr recievers.
