I can relate with your friend big time, with the bands I'd play with in the past, they all just wanted to party, where I'm only there to play, and when it comes to actually recording and organizing stuff for legit use, they were rather clueless, perhaps your friend and I should hook up some time to talk guitar shop. I'm still getting used to the nuances of that mixer, I have a long way's to go to get it to output the quality tone I want from it to translate into an actual recording.
