Got my 5" fans and speed controls directly from United Hobbies in Hong Kong. These things are friken' HUGE!! [X(]Need to order the Hacker motors next. Others have tested this combo at 17.5k RPM and approx 12 lbs of thrust each unit, giving me 24 pounds of thrust total. I don't see the electric version coming in at 50 pounds- using the batteries to get the correct C.G., etc... I am hoping for somewhere around 30-35 pounds AUW.

Put 6 nice flights on the baby hog today and finally got her dialed in!!

Have you done any more testing on the united hobbies fans? I have a pair of these that i was going to set up in my A10. Just curious what the outcome was.
