How many % oil do you use on your 170 DZ cdi ?
Steph Carrier used 7 % oil and 25 % nitro oil and now he is testing 5 % oil and 20 % nitro.

I had a friend in Japan call the Yamada factory and ask them the "recommended oil percentage" in the Fuel.

The factory reply was that "Low oil does not cause the engine to cut out, unlike other glo motors. However, the factory cannot recommend any particular percentage and users have to experiment for themselves". When asked about Nitro percentages for the CDI, the answer was the same.

So the factory is not making any particular recommendations. Please ask Steph Carrier to post his results since we all want to get feedback on the precise fuel mix to use with the CDI engine.
