I have programed the three position landing switch but I'm still having trouble with the flap slider...I can inhibit the slider just fine but the flaps move to the takeoff position when I inhibit the slider...I need to figure out how to raise the flaps when inhibiting the slider....

BC is correct here. You'll have to reprogram the servo range and center position after inhibiting the slider.
Have a look at Joe Rafalowski's pdf document given by countryboy. It is really excellent and explains how to do it step by step.
