anything bigger then a 1.4 tip is concitederd as a primer tip. I use a 1.4 tip for priming to lay it out smoother. Just found out accuspray makes a tip down to .7 for my gun,I'm going to order the 1.1 for my gun but will check into the other tips too.Plus want to buy the newer twist off lid gun cup.
