I noticed Ryobi 31 exhaust port is kind of a long narrow slit and am thinking a little more area would be beneficial. I've removed the "post" and wided Homie 25 exhaust with pretty good results but did not change the height so as not to mess up timing. The Ryobi E port is plenty wide but very narrow. Has anybody tried enlarging this port[sm=what_smile.gif]
Some engines need that "post" for ring support. If edge of piston ring gets snagged on new port size...its by by ring! Capt,n[&o]
