i'l suguest a McCoy Mc-59, its what i use and love them
If I'm not mistaken, the MC-59 is too long. It'll stick into your combustion chamber and expose a couple of threads, which leads to hot spots and the carbon that builds up on the threads can strip out the head when you pull out the plug. The SH big blocks, anyway, take the shorter OS plugs.

Best to use a plug that fits.
The only way it would do that is if you didint use the copper washer... and you must use it, i took my head on and it was tight and flush on the under side of the head... so i have no idea what you are talking about... and it was a Mccoy Mc-59 not a turbo pulg (anyways a turbo plug wont fit) and they are no longer than a normal pulg... if it was, the Plug would act like a piston stop... there is so littel head clearence that it would just hit if it was too long...

just to clear it up
