Default RE: Wheeeeeeee.......... Blade CP!

Hi All,

Man I had a great day! Zero wind, perfect for flying. I brought my glow fuel planes to the field today as well as my electric Extra and the HBKII. We managed to maiden 3 airplanes without a hitch. I was blessed to be at the sticks for the first hopps of all including my Kyosho Pitts S2-C. I got to fly a 1/4 scale Great Planes Piper Cub with a OS 91 4 stroke. The owner/builder is one of the nicest guys ever met. He must be in his late 70's to early 80's and was a full scale pilot. He's owned an Aeronica, Luscombe, multiple Cessna's 150, 172, 182. It was great to hear him recount many stories. The motor didn't want to behave but we got it tuned up enough I felt comfortable to maiden it. She flew beautifully! He built it perfectly. The next was my Pitts. I wasn't really happy with it. If you touched the rudder the nose dove hard. I didn't have it set-up correctly, ( throws were way to little) but it was also uneventful and landed very well. I then got the privilege to maiden a 1/4 scale Midwest Extra 300S with a OS 3500 2 stroke. This is by far the biggest plane I've ever flown. I was so graceful and smooth![8D] On it's first flight I was doing 4 point rolls. The HBKII was acting up and the gyro wasn't holding. I have to check into it. The owners of the property were just great, super nice people.

What a Blessed Day!

God Bless Y'all,

Jay
