The flights that I have put on this aircraft with a gas engine and the stock fuel tank lasted 10-15 minutes with a considerable amount of gas left. Remember you will need to change the rubber tank stopper and fuel line/hose if you are going with a gas motor installation. You should be able to mount a smoke tank just aft of the wing tube and not have a great effect on the CG. Hope this helps...
