Default RE: Joe and Ed's Weedy FX26 Xtreme gassy boat. Mono hull

Well everyone it has been a long but great day! i took my boat out for the very first time and it did we although i have to work on the rudder a bit and maybe redo my struts distance in back of the rudder. I made the mistake of hurrying up today and just wanting to get out on the water and went with a straight rod for my rudder setup and it just didn't work it was binding a lot made 1 bend and put in a socket setup instead of having what i think is called a colet holding it on and whala works great now with no servo struggle! Now my rudder is in front of my prop i think that this is wrong because i can turn right well and left almost not at all... Im hopefully going to get some info from people on this tonight and look at different setups. You can see in the video how well... not sharp it turns i really need to get this done by the next time i go out. Yes my radio box is clamped on and no no water got in i didnt really have a great idea for the lid but ill work on it.... Camera Lady was holding out daughter Lilly so videos are not all that steady but you get the gist. here are some pics and videos from my outing today!

Ol Blacky doesnt wanna turn http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i7I4mAB8me4

This is her running sure revs out to get going but a 2716 prop will do that i guess huh! http://s237.photobucket.com/albums/f...touting002.flv
