I have three of these motors and really like them for one main reason, they have a small footprint that allows them to be placed in just about any plane that will accept a 120 four stroke. My opinion is that these motors are reliable and start easily but have two weak points. The chokes are poorly designed (I understand this is fixed in the GX version) and the ignitions prone to failure (two of mine have failed within a 24 month period). Horizon will not warrant the ignitions after the first few months. Not sure if the ignition units have been upgraded, my newest 26 is the GT2.
