I am placing a Cline regulator on a Moki 2.1. Can anyone give me guidance on how to connect the various fuel/pressure lines? The backplate on Moki has been tapped and a nipple has been installed. Muffler used is a Bisson Pitts muffler.
Do I run a pressure line directly from the backplate nipple to the fuel tank with the fuel line going from tank to Cline regulator? If I do this, do I have any pressure line from the muffler to the fuel tank...or is the needed pressure in fuel tank sufficiently provided by the line from the Moki's backplate? Or, do I splice the 2 pressure lines with a "T" fitting which then attached to the fuel tank?
The instructions that came with the Cline regulator were not as clear as I'd like. Thanks to anyone who can assist.
hi willy
first you have to install the regulator an 1 1/2 from the nipple on the carb it works best there. that line will connect to the OUT on the regulator then. the in LINE will go to a T that goe's to the CLUNK that completes that set up. the ( T ) you just hooked up. the other part of the T WILL BE USED TO FILL YOUR TANK.
the line that comes out of the back plate you install the check value ( BRASS TOWARDS THE MOTOR ) then install another ( T ). to the tank ( WHICH WILL BE YOUR VENT LINE ) the other part of the ( T ) will be your over flow. and that's it.
dennis i will post a picture of the set-up.
