Default RE: Ike Aftermath

PF.
The person I believe mislead many of us about the future of the Jetero Club was the president when we voted to make the purchase. I didn't name him. I'm certain that you remember his name.
Yes, I can remember that much. Name was and is Horrace D. Cain. You may have been thinking of Dick Mundee, the 1995 Pres. That vote was in Jan. 1996. Special meeting. I had been voted in as Pres, because the FF boys thought I would bring all the Jetero to them along with the Treasury to FF.

They forgot I read the rules. Those Jetero Bylaws recently written by a prominent FF attorney, now deceased, allowed business to be conducted at a special meeting. They also denied club membership after Dec. 31, even though they allowed flying priveleges until Jan. 31.
That was great. Back then we met at the civic center. Lots of room. Maybe you remember. I went over the several sites that Dick and I along with several other members had located. There were charts. The vote gave me the authority to make the deal subject to a committee review with report to be made at the Jan. regular meeting.

The FF gang arrived and set up their seating arrangements like Battleship Row, planning to nix the whole thing. Well, as a corporate president, corporate law charges the Pres. with protecting corporate assets. I did so by not letting "non-members" vote, and most of that gang had not paid '96 dues to Jetero. I do admit they took it fairly well and did not raise as much stink as I thought they would do. [8D]

We were on our way!
Sorry Horrace, I didn't realize I was blaming you for anything. I don't quite understand that comment.
Do the memory bells now ring?

Now, just maybe Ike has again given us a new challenge. So it's time to say what you want.
